I am looking for the Missions information for2009. Has this part of VBS been deleted? If so what is the rational? THANKS!
Last year the Introductory Video was eliminated because the children who were not able to attend for the finale got ony the negative aspects of the scenario. This was what they took away with them.
A complete short intro story each day would be preferable to leaving the children hanging without the positive ending to the continuing story. A continuing story ,I’m sure it is thought to keep the kids coming. The fun, learning, lots of kids keep them coming. Perhaps an alternative Intro could be offered.
The music is always fantastic. I’m sure the Bible study is great. I have been the facillitator for MISSIONS emphasis, an important area for children. I hope some have not considered this unimportant for inclusion in VBS 2009.
As important as is missions, the earlier the children see the needs the better. Your writers have done a fabulous work for missions in the past, and especially for VBS 2008.
THANKS!

No – the missions rotation is still a vital part of LifeWay’s VBS. In fact, we added
a four-color insert with maps and visuals to the Missions Rotation Guide this year. Also, The missions DVD includes an extra video segment explaining the LifeBox hands-on mission project which churches may choose for their mission action project
What are the tickets used for?
Thanks!

The tickets in the picture were just props that we used for the video shoot.
